Last month a video was released through the net of 2 Marines, 1 recording and the other holding a puppy and throwing off a cliff. This is the video( but understand that there are still a lot of facts missing so this video may not be real).
In this video the Marine holds up a puppy and says "oh so cute", then he throws the puppy off the cliff and the recorder Marine says " that's mean". The name stated in this video was tracked and led to a David Motari. But not much information is known.
I think, this video looks odd and could be a hoax. The puppy did not twitch or move when being held up and when thrown the voice of the puppy seemed put in by editing and the voice did not change in volume as the dog was thrown further. But, what shocks me and a couple of other bloggers more is that people online are actually surprised about this and determined to track down the soldiers in the video.. Although this is animal cruelty if it is real, there are way more other videos of soldiers causing mayhem in Iraq, including shooting dogs. With people dying each day in Iraq how come a mere puppy throwing video gets so much publicity from the American public? I think the greatest animal cruelty is not man's best friend- dogs, but humans.

I, myself, am a puppy lover. I love dogs and i cannot believe that there marines would do something so cruel as to throw a puppy off a cliff. Animal cruelty is something i highly go against. Seeing people heartlessly hurt, injure or even kill an animal breaks my heart.
I agree with you by the fact that there is a war in Iraq and many lives are dying each day, yet people seem to be most aggravated by a video of a marine throwing a puppy off the cliff and not by the massive amounts of lives killed each day in Iraq. People need to be smacked in the face by reality to show that there are much more going on in the war than a puppy being thrown off a cliff by a marine.
